Lakehouse is 1.5 hours North of Atlanta on Lake Rabun. GA Power created Rabun for hydropower by damming between the mountains in Rabun county. GA Power maintains strict regulations over what can be done with the land around the lake and prevents clear cutting of trees ensuring that the entire lakefront is still heavily forested in southern pines. Additionally, Rabun's water level is strictly controlled, allowing for the construction of permanent rather than floating boat houses. We have two boathouses with an inboard ski boat, two outboard pontoons, and two jetskis.
